Lavender & Lace

Hi and happy Monday!

This week's Mod Squad Challenge is being hosted by the very talented Judy Woodland and sponsored by Kitchen Sink Stamps. Her challenge is to make a card using lavender or lace.  Here's the card I made for this challenge:

The card base is Wild Orchid from Gina K Designs. The gorgeous lacy die and sentiment are from the Happy Birthday Flourish Frame die and stamp set from Scrapbooking Made Simple, their Simply Refined line. The vellum flowers are made using the flower stamp from the Birthday Essentials StampTV Kit and white embossing powder. The corners are Spellbinder's Asian Accents.

Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by. 'Til next time, have a wonderfully creative week.

Hugs and blessings.

  1. Oh wow - I'm lovin' all those gorgeous lacy die cuts!! Just stunning! And heat embossing the flowers on vellum and then coloring them is genius!!!! I am going to do this, thanks for the inspiration! Great take on the challenge, thanks so much for playing along with us this week at the Mod Squad. Oh, and how are you enjoying retirement?????

    1. Thanks Judy for your wonderful comments, I truly appreciate them. As for my retirement, I'm getting the hang of it and enjoying the extra time I have for crafting.

  2. What a wonderful card with all those lacy layers. Gorgeous in every way.

    1. Thank you Verna. The lacy dies gives any card the perfect touch.

I would love to read your comments. Thanks for taking the time to leave one.
